It features a gorgeous handle … more This beautiful treasure is a very large and heavy copper clad covered pan or cauldron. It features a gorgeous handle at the top of the lid and black composite side handles. I’m not sure of the interior metal but it the pot is very heavy, so possibly iron. The copper patina is perfection.This pan was purchased by a couple in an antique store in Glasgow, Scotland in the 1970s and shipped back to the U.S. It’s very old and was certainly used back in the old country. This pan would be particularly wonderful for a Fall tableau. Would be beautiful filled with pinecones.The interior of the pan measures 15″ across. It is 22″ across including handles. It is 2″ deep and the lid is another 2″ deep. I can find no maker’s markings on the pan.Condition issues:Inside of pan is wornblack handles are a little melted from many years of heat. They aren’t melted, but slightly disfiguredThe lid does not fit snugly onto the bottom. Both top and bottom may be slightly misshapen. Just slightly though.Because of the size and the weight, this pan will be a little costly to ship. I will find the cheapest option available and refund any shipping overage you may have paid. less
