Rare Christofle “Marly” cake or pie server in 925 Sterling silver. The left side of the server features the O … more Rare Christofle “Marly” cake or pie server in 925 Sterling silver. The left side of the server features the O C silver mark with a bee, on the right the inscriptions Christofle. The center of the slicer shows the guild initials N.H. The handle has a rich floral decoration and is marked with the Christofle OC mark and bee. The model is named after Castle Marly, located near Paris, a summer residence built for Louis XIV. “Marly” is the most richly ornamented model in the Christofle Collection.
