Wedgwood introduced their Queens Ware in 1765, and then continued to make it for another 250 years. Because of the … more Wedgwood introduced their Queens Ware in 1765, and then continued to make it for another 250 years. Because of the maker’s mark on the bottom, I know that this delightful milk jug was produced sometime between 1940 and 1951. A lot of the solid creamware was produced during the 1940’s, due to wartime shortages of pigments. The decoration is a nicely detailed sacrifice tableaux, embossed in a matching cream clay. less
