The lamp’s single bulb is encased in a black enameled brass shade. This fixture is flanked by two parallel chrome cylinders each terminating in a tightly coiled articulating arm that connect to parallel chrome columns. A rectangular counterweight, made of black enameled brass, sits between the chrome columns and is attached to the rear of the light with a taught steel wire. less
