As identified by the Red Wing Collectors Society, Inc., the listed lot of 10 cups are from the Gypsy Trail … more As identified by the Red Wing Collectors Society, Inc., the listed lot of 10 cups are from the Gypsy Trail line made by Red Wing Stoneware & Pottery circa 1936. This line is also referred to as Hostessware. The Red Wing catalog describes these cups as being part of a Tom and Jerry Set when they are paired along with the matching punch bowl. (Listed separately.) Each cup has a horizontal concentric ring pattern like ringware. Red Wing refers to the cups as “fluted mugs”.This lot consists of 8 matching (7 ounce) cups and 2 larger cups. The wood and copper handles are included. Small Cups are 3 3/4” tall. Large Cups are 5 1/8” tall. This is a vintage, and thus used set of items. The cups are in very good, vintage condition and mostly useable. One of the 8 small cups has a glaze chip on the exterior bottom.One of the 8 small cups has a drop of orange paint inside from manufacturing and the texture is a little rough. One of the 8 small cups has a hairline crack and some drops of white paint inside. One of the 8 small cups has a hairline, for a total of 2 cups which have hairlines. The 2 large cups are in very good, vintage condition. Each cup has a small area of discoloration inside. This is an extremely rare and hard to find set with 2 extra bonus cups which make a gorgeous display. less
