Unmarked, but most likely English, circa 1840. Copper lusterware was made by a wide variety of potters in England from about 1820 to 1850, mostly for the mass market. Measurements including handlesTall – 7 3/4″ tall x 6 1/2″ wideMedium – 6 1/2″ tall x 5 1/2″ wideCreamer pitcher – 5″ tall x 5 1/2″ wideThe bulbous lower bodies of these pitchers compliment the smoothly curved and embossed spouts and curvy handles giving them a graceful form. The tall and medium pitchers have matching form, “faceted” lower bodies, white glazed interiors and similar painted details. The bodies of all the pitchers have hand-painted enamel floral accents of green, yellow pink and white. The smaller creamer has a ribbed lower body with vertical blue lines and a copper luster interior. less
