Black enamel Bakelite base, chrome top half and handle, enamel stopper on the spout and glass thermally insulated interior. It’s a great design, yet so practical. Manufactured by American Thermos Bottle Company in Norwich, Connecticut. It was originally advertised as the “Thermosphere.” It was designed by Arthur H. Payson, but it is often attributed to famed designer, Raymond Lowry.
