Antique US Glass Delaware Green Glass Pitcher & 5 Tumblers C.1899Beautiful Victorian antique green glass water set comprised of … more Antique US Glass Delaware Green Glass Pitcher & 5 Tumblers C.1899Beautiful Victorian antique green glass water set comprised of one large water pitcher and 5 tumblers in US Glass Co’s Delaware pattern. The pattern was issued in 1899 as part of the “States Series” line and named for the individual States of the Union. The Delaware pattern is also known as ‘Four Petal’ and ‘New Century’. The pieces feature a stippled background with raised floral & foliage designs that are highlighted in gold gilding. This water set is often referred to as a lemonade set and would be lovely to serve apple cider or mulled wines for Christmas. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks to the set. Pitcher has loss of a large percent of the gilding which is typical of these antique pieces, cups have retained a larger percentage of the gold, please see photos. Pitcher measures 9” X 5.5”, tumblers measure 3.5″ x 3.75″. less
