Veneered in Kingwood, this 5 drawer bombe, serpentine shaped commode is adorned with finely chased mercury vapor gilt ormolu. The perfectly preserved carcase is constructed in quartersawn Oak and retains the original marble top. Known for veneer work, it is rare to find a piece by Mondon with such fine bronze dore. less
