Welch (Hopkinton MA 1921 – 2014) and dated for 1982.The trunk have been extensively hand painted with a village scene with men in black suits and hats (Amish or Pennsylvania Dutch? or just Victorian Era scene?) and ladies in bonnets.Also a church with cemetery, farmhouse and town houses, trees, horse and carriage, flowers and barnyard cows, chickens and sheep, veggie patch. Leather hinged top. NOTE: original purchase price label for 575 dollars!Dimensions: about 26″ long by 14″ wide by 12″ tall overall.Condition: some finish wear and dirt inside, loose hinge as shown, shows very well.Note: pictures taken on two different days, true color most like first picture.Pick-up in Pennsburg PA 18073, or shipping arrangements via Chairish available.Thanks for looking, less
